Raccoon Reading with Kaylee and Leighton

Leighton and Kaylee read a book 

called "Raccoon Wakes Up".  

They made some paper bag 

raccoon puppets. 

They copied the colours 

from the pictures in the book.

Birds

Last week we read a shared book about birds.  The book was non fiction which means the book was true. Some of the birds looked like this. They had been drawn.

Some of the pictures were photos, like this one.

We tried to draw our own pictures of birds.

We liked a video of a dancing bird in the book. 
But is that true? 
Do birds dance?        Well, yes they do!
