The Same or Different?

We have been thinking and talking about how people are unique.  That means they are special in their own way.  We have also talked about how people are the same and how they are different.
Our "What if?" question today was - "What if everyone in the world looked the same?"

Yes, Rome and Cooper,  your parents would be very confused!  We decided that we were glad that we all look different!

Numbers and Counting

We are learning about working together and showing good relationships.  We shared our learning in maths today. We practised counting and thinking of ways to show our number.
Our number is 3.  Can you see 3 jovis and 3 bears?

Can you guess what our number is?

We found five monkeys!

I have made 3 shapes out of playdough.

I am counting all the shapes that I made.

Our number is 6.  We used 2 dice...
3 + 3 = 6

Number 5,
five on the dice
five hanging monkeys.

7
seven bears on seven counters
6 + 1 = 7

Great number work Room 2!
