Birds

Last week we read a shared book about birds.  The book was non fiction which means the book was true. Some of the birds looked like this. They had been drawn.

Some of the pictures were photos, like this one.

We tried to draw our own pictures of birds.

We liked a video of a dancing bird in the book. 
But is that true? 
Do birds dance?        Well, yes they do!

Middle Syndicate Overnight Camp

This morning the middle syndicate were putting tents up on the field because they are staying overnight at school. The teachers are sleeping in the biggest tent. We saw mattresses, pillows, camp stretchers and sleeping bags.  Room 2 think they will need torches so they can see in the dark!

Swimming!

We are very lucky at Vardon School because we go swimming every day. 

 Room 1 and Room 2 go swimming straight after lunch. We have been learning to be more confident in the water and we have been trying new skills.

We had a swimming demonstration and we showed our parents and families what we do at school swimming.  Lots of people came to watch us and they took photos and videos of us. The water was very warm and we tried our hardest with our swimming.
