We have been doing maths challenges for Maths Week.

We all got 6 and we were right!

A girl was given one marble on Tuesday. 

Then she was given two marbles every day for a long time. 

What day did she get her 11th marble?

Working on the Ipad

We have been learning to use a new app on the ipad.
We can choose the things we want in our picture and then we can write about it.  We will put more of our work on the blog as it gets finished.

Subtraction is about taking away or even losing things!

We have been learning about subtracting and counting backwards!  We use maths equipment to work out the answer.  Sometimes we already know the answer because we have practised and we remember!

The firemen

We have been reading a book called "The Firemen". It is a poem by J.K.Baxter and the book has got some funny pictures!

We drew some fire engines and wrote about the story. Brayton wrote his story on the ipad. Clever work Brayton!
