Star of the Day

We have turns at being the Star of the Day in Room 2.  It is a responsible job because we have to help Mrs Scott when she is calling the roll. We have to get the notices from the office and be the line leaders. We also have to hand out books and paper to everyone in the class.

 

Poetry Week

It's Poetry Week at Vardon School and we have been reading and writing lots of poems. We practised the poem called "I am Special" and learnt how to use expression when we are reading. We have been writing acrostic poems about school and lunch! Some of them are up on the window in our classroom. Room 10 had been writing their own Autumn Poems. We were lucky because they came to share them with us!

 Did you know that we have a KC model in our class? We had our photo taken with KC. We are learning more things about how KC helps us and how we can help ourselves with our learning.

Writing in Room 2

We do lots of writing in Room 2.  We write about all sorts of things. 

We took photos of Cooper and his new scooter. He told us all about it and then we wrote about it.
